The Old Woman and the Wine-Jar
一位老妇人找到一个新近装过陈年葡萄酒的空瓶子。瓶子里还留有葡萄酒的芳香。老妇人贪婪地吮吸着这美妙的味道，赞叹道：“天哪，这真是世界上最甜美的味道了！连残留的气味都这么让我着迷，可想而知，葡萄酒是多么的可口！”
美好的事物可以获得永久的魅力。
An Old Woman found an empty jar which had lately been full of prime old wine and which still retained the fragrant smell of its former contents. She greedily placed it several times to her nose，and drawing it backwards and forwards said，“Oh most delicious！ How nice must the wine itself have been，when it leaves behind in the very vessel which contained it so sweet a perfume！”
